Choose from our four luxurious individually decorated en-suite double bedrooms, all located in the thatched homestead, surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens and shady trees.
SUITE NUMBER ONE:
This beautifully decorated suite is situated upstairs with french doors opening onto a balcony overlooking the garden and swimming pool. A perfect setting to sit and enjoy sundowners watching the sun set. This suite is very private and is ideal for a romantic evening away from home. The king size bed is dressed with percale linen and a luxurious duvet. This suite is also utilised as our bridal suite because of its appeal and privacy. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with shower, bath, bidet and a double wash basin, vanity and hairdryers. There is a fireplace tucked into the one corner complimented by two arm chairs. Our lavender room depicting the beauty of spring is also situated upstairs with its own private balcony overlooking the pool and garden. Sit outside and enjoy a cocktail while watching the many different species of birds that visit our lush garden. This suite has a king size bed dressed with luxurious linen, a t.v. set and tea and coffee station. An inter-leading room with a double bed and its own t.v. set adjoins this room creating a perfect family suite. Air-conditioning and under floor heating have been installed for your comfort and the adjoining room has a fitted ceiling fan. The bathroom has a double vanity, bidet, shower and hairdryer. A safety deposit box has been fitted into your room for your exclusive use and convenience.

The periwinkle room exudes an air of serenity, off set by elegant white drapery and linen. This suite has its own t.v. set, coffee station and a private modern bathroom. The bathroom has both a shower and oval bath decorated with a Persian flair – a hair dryer is supplied for your use. This suite does not have its own patio but a private patio has been sectioned off from the main patio which overlooks the pool, it is here where you can enjoy your sundowners. The swallows have made their nest on the patio area of this suite again this year and it won’t be long before the new offspring arrive. ACCOMMODATION
Choose from our four luxurious individually decorated en-suite double bedrooms, all located in the thatched homestead, surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens and shady trees.
SUITE NUMBER ONE:
This beautifully decorated suite is situated upstairs with french doors opening onto a balcony overlooking the garden and swimming pool. A perfect setting to sit and enjoy sundowners watching the sun set. This suite is very private and is ideal for a romantic evening away from home. The king size bed is dressed with percale linen and a luxurious duvet. This suite is also utilised as our bridal suite because of its appeal and privacy. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with shower, bath, bidet and a double wash basin, vanity and hairdryers. There is a fireplace tucked into the one corner complimented by two arm chairs. Under floor heating has also been fitted and there is a t.v. set as well as a tea and coffee station. A safety deposit has been fitted into your room for your exclusive use and convenience.
SUITE NUMBER TWO:
Our lavender room depicting the beauty of spring is also situated upstairs with its own private balcony overlooking the pool and garden. Sit outside and enjoy a cocktail while watching the many different species of birds that visit our lush garden. This suite has a king size bed dressed with luxurious linen, a t.v. set and tea and coffee station. An inter-leading room with a double bed and its own t.v. set adjoins this room creating a perfect family suite. Air-conditioning and under floor heating have been installed for your comfort and the adjoining room has a fitted ceiling fan. The bathroom has a double vanity, bidet, shower and hairdryer. A safety deposit box has been fitted into your room for your exclusive use and convenience.
SUITE NUMBER THREE:
The periwinkle room exudes an air of serenity, off set by elegant white drapery and linen. This suite has its own t.v. set, coffee station and a private modern bathroom. The bathroom has both a shower and oval bath decorated with a Persian flair – a hair dryer is supplied for your use. This suite does not have its own patio but a private patio has been sectioned off from the main patio which overlooks the pool, it is here where you can enjoy your sundowners. The swallows have made their nest on the patio area of this suite again this year and it won’t be long before the new offspring arrive. A safety deposit box has been fitted into your room for your exclusive use and convenience.
SUITE NUMBER FOUR:
Elegance itself; is the best way to describe this suit with French doors that open up to a private patio, overlooking the lush treed garden. Sitting on the patio in the evenings, the sounds of the little tree frogs and the night jars whisper through the trees. Decorated in cream and rich rusty tones, this suite exudes a feeling of royal elegance. The modern en-suite bathroom has an oval bath and a shower as well as twin basins set into a vanity – a hair dryer has been supplied for your use. An overhead fan circulates the air creating a cooling effect under the thatch. Under floor heating, as well as a fireplace have been installed to create a warm atmosphere in winter. A safety deposit box has been fitted into your room for your exclusive use and convenience.
PLACES OF INTEREST
Surrounded by the Crocodile Ramble and bordering on the Magalies Meander, Monchique offers access to a host of activities in close proximity. Visit Arts and Crafts stalls, go buggy or quad bike racing. Visit the splendor of the Sterkfontein Caves, spend a lazy day out in the fresh air trout fishing (ask us to pack a picnic basket for you), or take a drive to Hartesbeespoort Dam and indulge in a paragliding trip over the still waters or float away on a hot air balloon ride. A visit to the Elephant Sanctuary is an absolute must and a visit to one of the local game reserves will give you “The true feeling of Africa”. Take your picnic basket (beautifully prepared by Jenny and Sonia) and spend the day at the Botanical Gardens and view the protected Black Eagles in full flight. Visit the local glass factory shops and candle makers (they both offer a wonderful selection of gifts and mementos).
If shopping is your passion there are a number of up market, modern shopping centers in close proximity, Jenny will give you directions. If you would like to go out for a meal with a difference, we have a number of excellent restaurants in the area that we can recommend, but we still say our cuisine is of the best on offer in the area.
